2017 Laws of the Game Changes & New Zero Tolerance Policy: MSA
Published Monday, April 24, 2017

The following information is communicated to all of our members on behalf of the Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA):

Dear MSA Member Leagues, players, coaches, volunteers and league administrators, as you may recall, there were over 95 Laws of the Game changes in 2016 that in Canada come into effect at the start of the 2017 outdoor season.
In order to help everyone understand the most important changes, the MSA has put together some information that can be viewed at the following link:
You will not find all the changes in this information, as some are clarifications for referees that do not impact the players and coaches.  We have tried to minimize it to the most important and relevant points.  You will find a video and also a PDF presentation to help you.

We have also recently released the attached document related to Zero Tolerance implementation starting with the 2017 outdoor season. Please review the document that includes examples.

Referees have received the same information and have been instructed accordingly.

Having our players, coaches and parents review this information, will help all of us understand and follow the rules appropriately making the game pleasurable for all. Thank you for your attention and enjoy the season.
